BLRC Code of Ethics
Careful attention will be concentrated on through Breeding Stock
1. Soundness of temperament, structure and health
2. Natural Ability
3. Confirmation to standard
4. Tractability
Our Criteria for breeding stock
1. AKC Championship points
2. AKC obedience, tracking or agility title
3. Judges award of merit, placement in a derby, qualifying for an open stake in AKC licensed field trial

* Badger Labrador Retriever Club believes that breeding stock and offspring should adhere to the above recommendations. We also recommend that a brood bitch whelp once per calendar year.
* We promote the use of limited registration and spay/neuter of all animals not sold for breeding purposes.
* We also require that puppies NOT be sold wholesale to retail outlets for resale.
* We recommended breeders be willing to take back or help replace any of their breeding that is in need of rescue.
